Meb Keflezighi the three part episode film: An Eritrean who has accomplished the American dream through hard work.

Eri-international sports is proud to inform and share a great documentary film produced by FloTrack a website dedicated to the sport of running. The three part series is a motivational and educational story that should inspire families and allow people to learn. Within the Eritrean community Meb is a household name as he has made his way to many Eritrean events to meet his people. As an American Meb continues to go around the country and become an ambassador of long distance running.

Blogger with Gold medalist Stefano Baldini and silver medalist Meb.

After watching this documentary, I felt the pride of the Eritrean-American as I am sure many of you would. Meb exemplifies what it takes to be a hard worker who has accomplished goals and his dreams while maintaining his Eritrean roots and adapting to his adopted country. Through this film we were able to learn about Eritrea and Meb's Eritrean family. But most of all the way in which Meb lead his life starting from high school, a stellar career at UCLA and through out his amazing career.

                                               Meb winning The Boston marathon.

Eri-International sport has covered Meb at the New York City Marathon a couple of times and the relationship that Meb and his family have had with the writer of this blog goes back more than 15 years. From the Eritrean sports festivals to the many other gatherings it has been a great ride to know Meb and his family. An inspiration to mankind, a sports hero who everyone should be proud of but most of all Eritreans can learn from. If you set your mind to it you can do anything.

Merhawi also a good friend is an inspiration as an agent. Yes! Young Eritreans you can make a career out of sports. Just make sure you get that education. You can be an athlete or anything else you desire. Just watch this documentary series.
To Meb's Eloquent and beautiful wife Yordanos, you as well are a star and you are doing an awesome job with your beautiful daughters.

Eri-International sports will continue to bring inspiring stories. There are many Eritreans out there who are doing wonders and their stories will be told. To sum it up I want to thank Meb and Hawi for making a stop at the UN headquarters to meet up with another inspiring human being whom we recently lost his excellency Ambassador Girma Asmerom and shared a great moment with him worthy of making it to the ERI-TV news headline.

Here are the links to the Trailer and all 3 episodes which run about 13 minutes each. His life story and his success as a runner are being told through a documentary to the world.
